What conditions do you treat? We help with a variety of mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, bipolar disorder, sleep problems, and substance use disorders.

Do you offer therapy or just medication management? Both!

Do you prescribe controlled substances? Yes, when appropriate and safe. We follow state and federal regulations, and prescribing decisions are made after a full evaluation.

Can you be my primary psychiatrist if I already have a therapist? Yes! We often work alongside therapists to provide comprehensive care.

We don’t require a deposit or charge a no-show fee. However, if appointments are frequently missed or you don’t show without notice, we may decline to reschedule future visits.

Do you accept my insurance?

We currently accept commercial Blue Cross Blue Shield of Oklahoma, Aetna & HealthCare Highways.

Do you offer self-pay options? Yes. We offer self-pay rates for those without insurance or who prefer to pay out of pocket.

If you have a Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA), you can often use those funds for psychiatric care.

What form of payment do you accept?

All major credit cards only: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover

Card on file required for scheduling. We do not accept cash, checks, ACH/e-check, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, Venmo, or other digital wallets. Cards are stored securely with our payment processor; no card data is kept in email or messaging systems

Can I text the clinic? Yes. You can text our clinic number for quick questions or to request an appointment. Please note that standard texting isn’t fully secure while in transit. Once your message reaches us, we store it securely, but it could be read if intercepted or if your phone is lost/unlocked. For anything private or involving health details, use Spruce

Do I need to download the Spruce app? Yes.

How do virtual appointments work? You’ll receive a secure link to join your appointment from your computer, tablet, or phone. No special software is required.

What if I have a technical issue during my visit? We have built contingencies for these situations, but we expect patients to be able to use audio/video for tele-psychiatry visits. It maintains the integrity of the appointment.

Is my information kept private? Yes. We follow HIPAA guidelines to keep your information secure and confidential.

How do I request a medication refill? Send us a secure message or call the clinic at least 3 business days before you run out.

Do you send prescriptions to any pharmacy? Yes, we can send your prescription to the pharmacy of your choice.

Can you prescribe medications after my first visit? In most cases, yes — after your evaluation, we’ll discuss treatment options and prescriptions as appropriate.

What if I lose my medication or need an early refill? We review these situations individually. Lost or early refill requests may require additional steps or may not be possible for certain medications.

What if I’m in crisis? If you’re having thoughts of harming yourself or others, please call or text 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, go to your nearest emergency room, or call 911. We do not provide emergency services.

Do you offer after-hours care? We do not have 24/7 coverage. Secure messages sent after hours will be reviewed the next business day.

What’s the difference between urgent and emergency situations? Urgent issues are important but not life-threatening (e.g., medication side effects, running low on medication). Emergencies involve immediate danger to yourself or others — call 988 or 911 right away.
